Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actress who is best famous for her character Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran from 2015 until the present. The Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she played the 13-year old Lebanese American girl Jasira that experiences a rollercoaster of emotions in the context of the U.S. intervention in Iraq in the Gulf War. The subsequent recognition as one of the Top 10 actors of Variety in 2007 was also a great recognition. Crossing Over, a 2009 thriller that focuses on crime, in which she played a strong female character named Taslima Jangir was selected for one of the Independent Spirit Award nominee for the category of Best Female Lead. The actress also appeared as co-lead in films such as the Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake as well as in a variety of TV guest roles.
